Wireless pionier Prof. Ferdinand Braun Homepage

commemorates the men working in the field of wireless communication. Even after 100 years of wireless communication there are still new developments in this field of science. This plainly contradicts the opinion of Heinrich Hertz who discovered the electromagnetic waves, and who said:

"'These waves are just a nice scientific game, you can't use them for anything'"

This homepage is presented by former radio officers of the merchant marine on a pure non commercial base. The development of radio is shown from the beginning until the 1920s.

We want to present the pages in other languages. At the moment this is the only English language page. You may find information in separate chapters in German.
